FIN-FSA's name being used in scam attempts
Scam messages have been sent in the FIN-FSA's name, demanding payments pertaining to sanctioned funds. The FIN-FSA has nothing to do with these messages, and they should not be acted upon.
The FIN-FSA will not request payments, PIN codes or passwords from consumer-customers or send out email with verification links. If you receive a suspicious message or invoice related to the FIN-FSA, please contact the FIN-FSA directly by using another communication channel than the link or telephone number provided in the message.
The FIN-FSA's name may be used in fraudulent purposes, urging companies, entities or private persons, for example, to make money transfers through the FIN-FSA. The FIN-FSA does not provide such financial services or collect service charges or taxes on international money transfers. The FIN-FSA does not process credit card information, either.
