Virva Walo appointed Head of Division at FIN-FSA’s Conduct Supervision of Banks
Virva Walo, LLM, has been appointed Head of the Conduct Supervision of Banks Division at the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) with effect from 1 September. She has served at the FIN-FSA for six years and will transfer to the new duties from her position as Chief Legal Advisor. Virva Walo’s previous employment includes positions at the Ministry of Finance, the European Commission and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.
The Conduct Supervision of Banks Division is responsible for supervising the conduct of banks and other consumer credit providers.
