Maija Vartiainen appointed Head of Division, Life and Non-life Insurance and Supervision of Investment Activities

Maija Vartiainen (LL.M.) has been appointed Head of Division, Life and Non-life Insurance and Supervision of Investment Activities as of 19 September 2022.

Maija Vartiainen has worked in the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) since 2019 as Team Leader with responsibility, together with her team, for legal affairs in the supervision of life and non-life companies, and for the development of these activities. She has also played a key role in various FIN-FSA development projects and has extensive experience of the insurance industry and supervisor work.
