Niina Bergring to head Life and Non-life Insurance division at the FIN-FSA’s Insurance Supervision Department

Niina Bergring M.Sc. (Econ.) has been appointed head of the Life and Non-life Insurance Division at the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) as of 16 June 2021. She joins the FIN-FSA from her position as Executive Vice President, Asset Management at Aktia Bank Plc. Bergring has solid experience of investment and management positions in the insurance industry from both the private and public sectors.

In the same time, oversight of investment activities in the Insurance Supervision Department will be reorganised. In the future, support for oversight of investment activities will be handled centrally at departmental level, led by Niina Bergring.
