Anne Puustelli to head Banking Risk Areas division

Anne Puustelli Ph.D. has been appointed head of the Banking Risk Areas division of the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) as of 1 September 2021. She has worked in the FIN-FSA as a senior banking inspector since 2019 and before that in OP Group in risk management expert positions.

The FIN-FSA’s Banking Supervision department has been restructured. The former Banking Regulation and Risk Areas division has been divided into the Legal Issues in Banking Supervision and Banking Risk Areas divisions. Berndt Hertsberg, LLM, trained on the bench, who previously served as head of the Banking Regulation and Risk Areas division, will continue as head of the Legal Issues in Banking Supervision division.
