FIN-FSA Annual Report 2019: Changes in the financial sector operating environment also change supervision
The FIN-FSA has published its Annual Report for 2019. We have redirected out supervision to meet the changes in the field of supervision, which is evolving into an increasingly diverse form. Digitalisation, climate change and anti-money laundering were highlighted as special issues in our activities. These are also prominent objectives in the FIN-FSA's strategy for 2020–2022, which was updated during the review year.
The Annual Report discusses, in addition to the previous year's focus areas and the state of the financial markets, the prevention of excessive household indebtedness, the management of disability risk by pension insurance companies, fund liquidity issues and the responsible use of data in the financial sector.
This year, the Annual Report was also published as a website for the first time. The Annual Report will also be published in Swedish and English later in the spring.
