Berndt Hertsberg to head Banking Regulation and Risk Areas Division in Banking Supervision at the FIN-FSA

Berndt Hertsberg, LLM, trained on the bench, has been appointed Head of the Banking Regulation and Risk Areas Division within the FIN-FSA’s Banking Supervision as of 6 April 2018. He transfers to this position from Aktia Bank, where he has held various expert and supervisor posts in Legal Affairs.

The Banking Regulation and Risk Areas Division is responsible for attending to regulatory tasks and legal support within Banking Supervision. The Division is also charged with the task of ensuring Banking Supervision access to the latest information on regulatory development and of ensuring the quality of supervision in different risk areas.
