Milka Lahnalammi-Vesivalo to head Communications at the FIN-FSA

Milka Lahnalammi-Vesivalo, MSocSc, has been appointed Head of Communications at the FIN-FSA for a five-year term, commencing 1 January 2018.

Ms Lahnalammi-Vesivalo is transferring to the FIN-FSA from her position as Manager, External Communications at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. She has held several expert positions in communications and marketing at VTT since 2002. Prior to VTT, Ms Lahnalammi-Vesivalo worked for a communications agency.

The task of Communications is to support the FIN-FSA's objectives in building stability and confidence in the financial markets. Part of the Director General's Staff, Communications plans, implements and monitors internal and external communications and provides communications services to the FIN-FSA staff.
