Mikko Kuusela to head the Employee Pension Institutions Division at the FIN-FSA

Mikko Kuusela, PhD, Actuary approved by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, has been appointed Head of the Employee Pension Institutions Division at the FIN-FSA as from 1 March 2017. 

Among other posts, Dr Kuusela has previously held the position of Senior Mathematician at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and Head of Underwriting at Silta Oy. He has also served as a deputy member of the Board at the FIN-FSA.

The Employee Pension Institutions Division is responsible for supervision of the solvency of employee pension companies, company pension funds, employee benefit funds and pension institutions established under public law. Experts from the Division also participate actively in the preparation and implementation of regulation relating to pension institutions.
