FIN-FSA has imposed three administrative fines for neglect of reporting
FIN-FSA has imposed three administrative fines for neglect of reporting of financial position. Administrative fines have been imposed on JWS:n sairauskassa (delay of 8 banking days), Muusikkojen Sairauskassa (delay of 3 months) and Oy Forcit Ab sairaskassa (delay of 22 banking days), which have not submitted regular reports to FIN-FSA on their financial position by a given deadline. The amount of each administrative fine is EUR 5,000.
For neglect of a reporting obligation, FIN-FSA may impose an administrative fine of EUR 5,000–100,000 on a legal person. Such an administrative fine shall be ordered payable to the State.
The decisions on administrative fines are not yet legally binding. The sickness funds have the right to appeal the decisions of 2 March 2015 to the Market Court within 30 days of receipt of notice of said decisions.
