EGDQ checks with regard to credit institutions (EBA ITS reporting) | EBA

The European Central Bank’s Expert Group on Data Quality has developed EGDQ checks which are supplementing the EBA Validation Rules published on the website of the European Banking Authority. Credit institutions are expected to apply the EGDQ checks in their quality assurance processes. Reporting contrary to the checks will result in requests for correction and clarification.

In the future, reporting entities have a possibility to provide comments on the proposed EGDQ checks during the development and planning phase within Expert Group on Data Quality.
