Lasse Heiniö appointed to the FIN-FSA Board

The Parliamentary Supervisory Council has appointed Mr Lasse Heiniö, MSc, SHV (Actuary accredited by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health), as member of the Board of the Financial Supervisory Authority with effect from 15 March 2018.

The Chair of the FIN-FSA Board is until 31 March Dr Olli Rehn, Deputy Chair of the Board of the Bank of Finland and the Bank’s Deputy Governor. From 1 April 2018, the FIN-FSA Board will be chaired by Ms Marja Nykänen, Member of the Board of the Bank of Finland. Dr Martti Hetemäki, Permanent State Secretary, Ministry of Finance, will continue as Vice Chair of the FIN-FSA Board. The other Board members are Ms Outi Antila, Director-General, Ministry of Social Affairs and Health; Dr Vesa Vihriälä, Managing Director, Research Institute of the Finnish Economy; and Mr Markku Pohjola, BSc (Econ.).
