Gibraltar Financial Services Commission announces withdrawal of the authorisation of an insurance company and appointment of a liquidator for the company

On 26 October 2016, the Financial Services Commission (The Commission) announced the withdrawal of the authorisation of the insurance company Enterprise Insurance Company plc (EIC).The Supreme Court of Gibraltar, upon application by the Commission, appointed Mr Frederick David John White as Liquidator of EIC.

The Commission has announced the above resolutions on the basis of the Solvency II Directive.
